My journey began growing up with the most hard working people I know, my three grandpas. Two farmers who were extremely detail oriented and a banker who kept a very organized ledger and a workshop that followed suit.

To no one’s surprise, my dad is a true jack of all trades. In hindsight, I wish I would’ve paid a LOT more attention to his diverse skill set as a kid. Thankfully, I like to think I have inherited enough of his gifts to carry on his legacy with my own trade endeavors.

My first house building experience came about when I was 19, this introduction allowed me to explore the art of renovation as a side job while studying at Iowa State University. I continued doing projects as a side job over the next several years. In early 2020 I founded TAG Renovations after experiencing a calling to use my talents and gifts full time to help people transform their space.

I have lived with my family in Ankeny since 2009 and been part of the metro since 2001. Our three children attend elementary school here. We love to stay active and have enjoyed seeing the community grow over the years.

Outside of work I love hiking, coaching my daughters’ soccer teams, watching sports (Go Cyclones), family movie nights and blissfully dreaming of our next vacation!

I am certified in Wedi Waterproof Systems and insured. Though my family doesn’t have pets during this chapter of our life, I love meeting my clients’ furry friends.
